Mac Conaty

Neely McKim is a British actress. She was born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in Buckinghamshire, England. Her father is a history professor of Irish descent, her mother is a nurse. At the age of 6 Neely was taken to see Les Misérables on the west end and credits this as when she fell in love with the stage. She didn't enter stage school until she was 11, attending the prestigious Sylvia Young. In her time there she performed in 12 plays. Neely went on to be a regular in the West End as a chorus member, transitioning to television at the age of 22 when she got a starring role in the successful series Sugar Rush, followed quickly by a film role as the youngest Bennet sister in Pride & Prejudice. Her breakthrough role came in 2010 when she played Lady Sybil Crawley in Downton Abbey for which she won Most Promising Newcomer at the 2011 British Independent Film Awards. She is best known for her role as Agent Peggy Carter in the Captain America films and subsequent TV show spin-off Agent Carter.
